Problem was the screen where you enter this is the one trashed :-(
The work around was to have some doco that had screen shots that I could use to guess the right keypresses to be able to use the F3 (IIRC) to select VGA mode or enter options like above.
Guess I will have to upgrade the monitor when it finally buys the big one. But that it not likely soon, as I said it is unplugged most of the time.
I too had this problem on a few systems. It was reported by a few before rc but was not fixed. This is a case where I think more testing would have assisted the release. This really should have had a higher priority so it was fixed before release. I think there were a few of them. I wish the word had been raised earlier than it was to find bugs that should have had their priority raised and fixed before release. Over all this 10.2 release was the best. I think the devs really need to be acknowledged for their great work on such a good release. -- Boyd Gerber <gerberb@zenez.com> ZENEZ 1042 East Fort Union #135, Midvale Utah 84047 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
