Is it no longer maintained in SLES-12? Removing it from Factory and keeping it in SLE-12, we just lose on regression testing.
It's even in SLE15 - you have a couple more years. But that does not mean that we have to get Factory to the point where it CAN be without Python 2 - otherwise SLE16 will be in deep waters. This in turn also means: if nothing in TW makes use of py2 anymore, the pure presence of the py2 package does not give you ANY regression testing. That's a very weak argument. Cheers, Dominique
