Thanks for the heads-up on this Olaf. For admins reconfiguring their openssh server, I'd recommend to no longer modirfy /etc/ssh./sshd_config directly, but rather create snippets in /etc/ssh/sshd_config.d/*.conf; this will allow your server benefit from new distro defauls (and upstream defaults) without you having to care for the entire config.
