Hello openSUSE! we have a feature in code-o-o regarding the possible drop of AI/ML stack unless we can get it to shape in Leap 15.4. https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issue/35 The goal of the effort is not to drop the stack (if possible) but find people who are willing to maintain it. See the feature track for more context and current progress on the effort in 15.4 by Egbert, Guillaume, and Benjamin. (copy-paste from the feature) Most of the following packages are maintained in the science:machinelearning devel project, however, not even their maintainers have shown interest to submit updates to Leap or have requested such updates to be done. It is therefore gathered that uptake of these packages in Leap is low - or non-existing: 1. ComputeLibrary 2. azure-storage-cpp 3. onednn 4. python-Keras-Applications 5. python-Keras-Preprocessing 6. python-onnx 7. python-onnxconverter-common 8. python-opt-einsum 9. python-torch We will revisit the state of the stack with the beta freeze on 16th February. More info about the schedule can be found in https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Roadmap Thank you -- Best regards Lubos Kocman openSUSE Leap Release Manager
