I thank you for you invitation to participate in those 2 bug reports. This is the first time ever that someone has invited me to participate in such an exercise which is why I feel quite flattered and am therefore thanking you :-) . However, the problems you mention in those 2 reports are not the same as what has been reported earlier and which I am experiencing as well as others. And to clarify what I stated in my original post to which you responded (above), "Not sure what you are talking about,...", when the Software Manager in YaST, activated from the System Settings menu, is running and one wants to install a particular application/rpm/file such as, let's see.... try vlc, and left-clicks on its tick box the Software Manager just goes....pooof!....disappears!...gone without even a simple, Had a Lot of Fun from Your openSUSE Team? :-) . Now, zypper is fully functional and the only way at the moment in 12.2 to get (most of) the software installed. Although, I think, if my memory serves me correctly, running 'yast' as root from a command line, when one boots into level 3 at the grub boot menu, works correctly and it doesn't do the Houdini disappearing act :-) .
