Hello, syslog-ng 3.3.1, which is included in openSUSE 12.1, works fine on a desktop, but has some memory leaks affecting busy central servers. I already directed a couple of users to my home:czanik:syslog-ng33 repo, but would prefer to update syslog-ng to 3.3.5 in 12.1 Most changes in the 3.3 line are bugfixes, with some minor feature changes in patterndb, which is not used in the default config, and affects only a small minority of users (if at all). For a complete changelog see http://www.balabit.com/files/syslog-ng/open-source-edition/3.3.5/changelog-e... I wonder, if making syslog-ng 3.3.5 as an update package for openSUSE 12.1 is possible.
