Hello,
I suddenly notice that YAST2 Boot Loader stop to work, this is the error I saved:
Internal error. Please report a bug report with logs. Details: undefined local variable or method `extended' for #<Bootloader::Stage Caller: /usr/share/YaST2/lib/bootloader/stage1.rb:172:in `available_partition Just to make things clear (once again): This is a mailing list, no bug tracking forum.
I'd seen this happen in openQA too (allthough only in snapshot 0428, not 0422).
So I did then as the message instructs, I actually filed a bug: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=977945
Bug was filed on Sunday at 08am and fixed on Monday before 9 am. This just to show that it DOES HELP to report a bug at the right point. It does get more attention.
I dont't mind people asking for assistance here - but once in a while when the message says it's a bug, it likely is a bug - let's handle them as such via bugzilla.
Cheers, Dominique Yes Dominique,
Of course you are right regarding the "bug-operandi". I will wait for next updates in order to check again if problem has been resolved.
