Hi, since the recent update to kernel 6.0.3 the firmware for 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Tiger Lake-LP Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller (rev 20) (prog-if 80) Kernel driver in use: sof-audio-pci-intel-tgl "doesn't work": Neither output nor input devices (=speaker & mic) are found. So no sound. With an external usb headset I get sound, but no recording, so I can listen, but not talk. Back on Kernel 6.0.2 (on the pre-snapshot before the update to 6.0.3) the sound on Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 9 works. I've seen there have been some changes of all the firmware modules during these recent updates. I need this machine for video calls, so I had to do a snapper rollback, which on the other hand prevents me from doing much research. I haven't found a bug on bugzilla.opensuse.org for this type of audio device. -- Regards, Alexander
