Hello,
I have recently compiled and installed libxine, so I can play mp3 files on Amarok. Both Amarok and Kaffeine now play mp3 files. However, the sound skips using any of them. If I play video, same thing. I suspect it has something to do with arts. When I'm playing Enemy Territory there's no sound skipping.
If I go to YAST -> Hardware -> Sound -> Edit, it says Sound Card Advanced Options and below "AC97 workaround for strange hardware"
Any hints? Thanks!
Do you have DMA turned on for your harddrive?
