Running yast2 on tumbleweed machines produces the following error: /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2base: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/YaST2/plugin/libpy2Pkg.so.2: undefined symbol: _Z16should_be_loggediRKSs
This is after doing a zypper ref, zypper dup and not having any remaining updates. Also the machine has been rebooted so everything is guaranteed to be restarted after the update to gcc5 etc. We test yast as part of the openQA tests for TW - and it works for me. Do you happen to have some stale libraries e.g. in /usr/local/lib64?
Greetings, Stephan A similar problem has been reported in: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=936788
There are no stale libraries on that system. Build from a fresh image.
Note this is om a Tumbleweed system with the ARM architecture. I followed the advice to build a new version of yast2-pkg-bindings, but that did not help.
Thanks Stephan, and sorry for the delayed response. /usr/local/lib64 and /usr/local/lib are empty. -- --Moby They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither libert -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
