I noticed that the xf86-input-libinput package is NOT removed as advertised: xf86-input-libinput 0.8.0-2.1 -> 0.8.0-3.1 x86_64 openSUSE-Tumbleweed-Oss openSUSE I applied the updates, rebooted the VM (VMware Workstation 11) and the poor mouse control returned (as I mentioned on the "" thread). I disabled the '/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-libinput.conf' file again and full mouse control returned.
