Also thanks for the pointer to the forum because the AVIF hint could be useful. Apparently the website requests those pictures with parameter fm=avif which are displayed black in FF 130. When I fetch the same URL without this parameter I see the picture.

When I google for Firefox AVIF support I find articles it should be supported since Firefox 92. But then there is this bug entry at mozilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=Avif

So I'm a bit confused right now.
