https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1226002 Bug ID: 1226002 Summary: KDE style file picker in Firefox uses XWayland unless user manually install libqt5-qtwayland Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox Assignee: factory-mozilla@lists.opensuse.org Reporter: pavel.urusov@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Target Milestone: --- Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 875326 --> https://bugzilla.suse.com/attachment.cgi?id=875326&action=edit Default KDE-style file picker in Firefox runs under XWayland and does not respect scaling The native KDE-style file picker in Firefox uses XWayland on default Tumbleweed/Plasma installation. That is not a huge problem in itself, but the XWayland picker does not respect the scaling settings. However, I noticed that after installing SwayWM in addition to KDE Plasma 6, Firefox switched to the Wayland file picker. Removing SwayWM and its dependencies breaks the file picker again. After investigating the issue, I discovered that the issue goes away if I manually install libqt5-qtwayland. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
