MS agreement has been around for a while. It only really makes any sense if you a) want to be tied to MS forever and b) are starting a fairly new environment where all machines can run the latest operating systems so you aren't buying upgrades for the economically unupgradeable. Don't forget you will also have to pay for at least something like OEM Windows ME too as agreement only covers operating system upgrades because MS think every PC automatically comes with Windows. Agreement sounds cheap at £40 per year per machine but since you can have openoffice (and probably Star Office 6 in education) free every year you aren't getting that much for your money. Most schools will be spending less on books, and books have a non-trivial manufacturing cost. Regards, -- IanL
