[opensuse-edu] openSIS rpm guidance.
Hey Guys, I was looking through the build log in the OBS and saw these lines; openSIS.src: W: no-spec-file No spec file was specified in your RPM building. Please specify a valid SPEC file to build a valid RPM package. openSIS.noarch: W: zero-length /srv/www/opensis/languages/English/Student_Billing/DailyTotals.php 109 more times with different scripts. Can anyone push me in the right direction? -- James Tremblay Director of Technology Newmarket School District 213 S. It looks betternow. You only need to swap the changelog entries (newest date at the top). error: %changelog not in descending chronological order -- Richard Bos Without a home the journey is endless -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-edu+help@opensuse.org

Hey Richard, I've tried to figure out the "nothing provides PHP* " errors I get when I try to install my rpm individually I seem to get the same error when I try the Moodle package on it's own too. -- James Tremblay Director of Technology Newmarket School District 213 S. Does that mean that package build now? But, that you have problems installing the package? I don't what errors you refer to now, can you include the errors? -- Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-edu+help@opensuse.org

no need to Cc or To me, I'm on the list (otherwise I wouldn't have seen your email anyway). Do you use a package installer, or are you installing the package manually (rpm -Uvh openSIS*)? In case you use the latter, change it for a package installer like e.g. yast2, or zypper. They will take care that the dependencies are downloaden and installed. -- Richard -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-edu+help@opensuse.org
