Well Ive taken the manual out and started reading it, but I just have not got time to install it yet. I feel that my school will not go down that route as we have not real IT structure and to try and implement anything is an impossible task. I have to lurch from crisis to crisis, Im not allowed to make any decisions as others have that role but do not fulfil it. It only looks good on paper. Sorry about the bleating but it is really frustrating having to try and maintain a system yet have no say at all in how it is managed.

Hello to new members of the list.
Don't be shy: post a message to let everyone know how you're getting on and what you've done with Linux so far.
There is help out there: ask ...
Reading list: I'll repost the list of books and web sites I put out once before.
