quit no exit no
There is a really nice story in the O'Reilly DNS book, about a DNS admin who configured a DNS name for a machine in his system, called quit. He aliased this to 'use.exit.to.get.out.of.nslookup' (or something similar) - so that whenever someone typed 'quit' in nslookup (quit is common for ftp type things) - they got the alias, and knew what to do. I *always* type quit in nslookup - don't know why ... but I always do ... At least doing this saves the timeout period, while your DNS server decides it hasn't got a machine called 'quit'. I really liked this solution. Kevin.
