The thread seems to have gone off on kmail crashing but from this I understand that it is working but not receiving mail? I may be oversimplifying things but I always get this on SuSE when I run YAST as it reloads sendmail by default and sends mail to a mbox other than the one I set up in kmail, ie. /home/paul/Mail. It goes to /var/mail/spool/paul I go to run level and stop sendmail and my mail comes back to my kmail box. I meant to send this to the list and will no doubt get flamed. :)

If I close the program down and go to Sysmte Guard it says the process is still running. If I kill it and restart KMail it all works normally.

This normally happens maybe once a day but it's done it 4 times already this morning.

Any ideas, I wouldn't know where to begin.
