For the benefit of Linux format readers the latest issue comes with a cdrom (bootable) with a educational software biased distro, which should keep you occupied until the school term starts again (Agghh), I have also just had a quick test of ymessenger which is on the save cover cd/dvd, this does not support chat groups / rooms yet, which could make it ideal for schools as conferences are suppoted as is chatting to other users, given the issues surrounding rooms schools could use yahoo messenger to perhaps set up chat services around the school or something, and with other schools. Just a thought as this should provide a nice secure /safe environment for the children to work in online, then again this could prove problematic if all the kids start chatting during lessons, and not getting on with real work, (like what I do).
