Not exactly Linux but definitely open source... On our RM Connect 2.32 network I have been having increasing problems with IE5.001 which is now dpread over 4 packages at least. Realising (thanks Linux User mag) that Mozilla do a Windows version, I've downloaded and installed that. Very, very impressive is the least that can be said. It's now being rolled out as default browser. Nigel -- Nigel Pauli Network Manager St. John's School, Northwood
I have to ask, how do you deal with the profiles? I found that it wanted me to create a new profile on each computer that i logged into, even tho i chose it to keep this kind of data within the users mywork area! This is on a 2.4 network btw. --- "N.Pauli" <npauli@st-johns.org.uk> wrote: > Not exactly Linux but definitely open source... On

Have you tried copying c:\windows\mozilla or c:\winnt\mozilla onto every workstation? This is probably where it is looking and not finding the files it expects to be there.

Opera's pretty good too. Have you removed IE? Assume not but just 'hidden' I would love to get rid of IE but we have Chemset200 which requires some of its libraries I believe, perhaps even the whole thing. Any ideas for dealing with this gratefully received (probably off-list is best!) John Low At 00:22 07/02/03 GMT, you wrote:
