On my own desktop I keep getting an error message when I boot into KDE that the soundserver has crashed. The sound system still works but it is irritating. It doesn't happen on other desktops and I suspect it is related to installing some xine files on my own desktop in a previous version of SuSE/KDE. Can anyone point me to the config file I need to look at/adjust/delete? Paul -- De Omnibus Dubitandum

More likely this is just artsd being artsd, complete crap. That said, I cannot see how installing Xine would have anything to do with the error, since xine would have to start along with KDE to cause it.... -- Thomas Adam ===== "The Linux Weekend Mechanic" -- http://linuxgazette.net "TAG Editor" -- http://linuxgazette.net "<shrug> We'll just save up your sins, Thomas, and punish you for all of them at once when you get better.
