FW: [Ltsp-discuss] New version of ltsp_core package available, su pporting SuSE-8.2
For those interested in trying out LTSP at their schools/LEAs/homes (libraries is good!)... Cheers Chris -----Original Message----- From: jam@McQuil.Com To: ltsp-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net Sent: 4/11/03 4:54 AM Subject: [Ltsp-discuss] New version of ltsp_core package available, supporting SuSE-8.2 Hello all, I've updated the ltsp_core package to provide support for SuSE-8.2. Most of the work was done by Stephan Peuckert for 8.1. I grabbed Stephan's update, and had to make a few additional changes for 8.2, and it seems to work pretty well. I have to mention that SuSE-8.2 looks like a real nice distro. I've not been a SuSE user in the past, but from what i've seen of this new version, they've done a fantastic job. The new ltsp_core package is ltsp_core-3.0.9, get it from the http://www.LTSP.org/instructions-3.0.html page, or the LTSP.org download page.
