Hi all,
I've just grabbed the preview of OO.o2 tonight, and I'm very impressed with what I've seen.
Nice improvements all round so far. The "Base" app is the one. Real potential.
Forms: I haven't got it using a TableB as a lookup for the list values in a combobox on FormA, where FormA edits and adds to TableA (you know - that wizard you run on Access to get combobox values from somewhere else (a table) and bung an id rather than the list value into the main table).
Have also tried it and failed to get the lookups working - a fairly key issue for teaching kids how to setup relational databases that are well structured & easy to use. Overal 00.o2 seems very very good. Francis Stanbridge Community College Bishop's Castle Shropshire SY9 5AY tel: 01588 638257 fax: 01588 630034

Been working on it again this morning - some limited progress on this issue. Subforms etc etc... I think it's time for me to join the appropriate list and take this further... I'm very keen to see OO.o2 taken up in the schools I have contact with. If anyone has any success with this lookup combobox issue, please let us know ;)

Just a quick question if anyone new, in version 64 they had a version of wordart and some flowchart/smilies/images etc in a bar like word, when I downloaded 78 (I think?!?) they have gone, and I can't find anything that says how to bring this toolbar back, was there any troubles with this?!? Jo

Don't know, but it's back now. There's a drawing toolbar with "fontworks" and callouts, shapes, smilies etc. :) -- Matt Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger.yahoo.com
Thanks, I'll have to download the latest version and have a look. Jo On Sun, 27 Feb 2005 16:47:31 +0000 (GMT), Matt Johnson <johnsonmlw@yahoo.com> wrote:
