I always seem to get this problem. New version of SUSE - and there is something which I can't get to work. With SUSE8.0 it was the telnet demon. This seems to work fine with v8.2 - first time (almost). However the remote display manager does not seem to work. I have modified the line in displaymanger to say yes. I have commented out the line in xdm-config. But my cygwin Xserver clients will not connect. What else do I need to look for? (oh - and yes I changed the run level to start up xdm.)
