Since upgrading 8.1 to KDE 3.1 i have noticed that if I open the file manager (su) in anything but a root desktop, it opens and displays for a second then disappears. I thought this was SuSE related but on another machine using RH 9 and 3.1 it does the same thing. Has anyone else seen this? Anyone know a fix? Paul

Hi, Has anyone out there successfully got SuSE working with WinBind so that users can log on to a SuSE console with their NT/Win2K username and password? Once this is done, how easy is it then to map a work drive from the NT domain to a SuSE drive? Your help is appreciated, Many thanks Gareth Edmondson ICT Department: Ysgol Gyfun Gwyr 01792 870026 --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Are you still wasting your time with spam?...
