Thanks go to you all for raising some important points, most of which if I read them correctly were focused on the non-standard way MS FP completes web site design in; I agree of course, and will pass on all messages to the parties involved to shed some light. Although the person actually doing the "designing" is a web "newbie", I do think that FP is a little proprietary. I maybe thought of Hotmetal Pro or Quanta myself--but I'm not running the Apache server.. Thanks again! Paul

Hum...Why would you even need WYSIWYG editors for HTML anyway??? I have always found Nedit and Netscape to be all that I require. However, since we are talking about HTML editors, have you tried "BlueFish"? It offers a nice GUI, and *might* be what you're looking for. Not that you can anyway. HTML was never intended to be a page descriptor language. Attempts to treat web page creation as desktop publishing run the risk of creating something which will just end up a mess if used with anything other than a very specific version of one browser.
all that I require.
