Hi All, Just thought I'd provide a little background about ourselves and use of Linux. We're a secondary comprehensive based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear and started using Linux towards the end of last year. We've currently three machines, providing network services, with Linux up and running on. One of the machines is also used as a proxy server (running Squid) and firewall (using IPChains). All run Samba and two of them are used instead of NT servers, on the grounds of cost and need. I am interested to see how schools are using Linux, and any good/bad experiences.
