Congratulations Richard indeed!
Hear, hear.
It is an interesting article, though I think they've missed something we experience relating to educational software. In our experience most of it is produced using packages at least 5 years old (In one case we have a brand new piece of psychology software written using the old 16bit Macromedia Director.) We'd probably have less hassles getting these software packages running under Wine on Linux than we'd have getting them to work under 2K / XP!
And I bet there are now more than 10 schools using desktop Linux. I could count 10 myself and I bet I don't know all of them. -- Ian Lynch <ian.lynch@zmsl.com> ZMS Ltd
