I've found some memory in an old server and have now beefed up my old 486. Suse loads well but there is only 420Mb of disk space. I want to be able to use the machine as a X client running from a bigger x server. What can I leave out from the installation. Every time I leave something out it seems that something somewhere needs it and I have to begin all over again.
The machine has an old D-Link 220 ISA network card. This doesn't appear on the list of supported cards in YAST. How can I get around this problem. I cant't find a different card which fits into the machine.
