The client service is running as well:
ps ax|grep epoptes 2599 ? S 0:00 socat openssl-connect:server:789,cafile=/etc/epoptes/server.crt,interval=60,forever EXEC:bash -c \"exec -a epoptes-client sh\"
Is there only one such process running? There should be at least two processes (one started by root, when network gets online, and other by user, started by /etc/xdg/autostart/epoptes-client.desktop).
It shouldn't matter if there is only one process launched in user's session or by root, the client should show up in epoptes GUI.
I'm currently running epoptes-server in a openSUSE 12.3 machine and epoptes-client in a openSUSE 13.1 one. For me it works perfectly.
Tested also on 13.1 LTSP server and client, it works fine there as well, just does not work with standalone client. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-edu+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-edu+owner@opensuse.org
