by a quirk of fate i managed to get Japanese Gnome from Red Hat 7.0 working by accident (well someone had burnt the Japanese iso's for me) i assume KDE2 would have worked as well. I had trouble getting if off, if you want the iso' let me know and i can put in the post

I am trying to get KDE2 to work with Japanese langugae support. My girlfriend is Japanese and I have set her up with her own desktop on my machine (SuSE 7). However, when I set the personal preference to Japanese I just get ??? on all of the icons. I have loaded Japanese and Chinese character support using YAST but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?
