My firewall script (custom made with ipchains) is located in /etc/init.d/myfirewall with a symbolic link from /etc/init.d/rc3.d/rc6myfirewall This is called when ever the computer is put into run level 3 and just after the network is started. Hope this helps Marcus Birkin (Assistant Technician - The Arts in Education Centre) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Azrael Angel Of Death" <psuedo_azrael@hotmail.com> To: <suse-linux-uk-schools@suse.com> Sent: Saturday, April 28, 2001 5:39 PM Subject: [suse-linux-uk-schools] Suse 7 + firewall
Perhaps I have caused some confusion.
I am _not_ refering to the SUSE Firewall that comes with suse.
I have made (via an online script) a firewall script, and all I want to do is know where to put it to run. I do not want to use the 'SUSE firewall' just my firewall ... and on SUSE.
Does this make sense?
