Hello,
I'm just reading the Virtualbox article in LfL (online version on forgeftp.novell.com/lfl/.html, Revision 244 from 2007-04-16) and have some minor fixes for it:
- section "Basic Installation Procedere":
4th step: The reboot isn't necessary. Just logout and log in again.
- section "Intermediate Topic: Networking via Host Bridging":
... VirtualBox has option to use Host netwroking, ... Typo, should be "networking" instead of "netwroking" ;-)
... 1. As we said earlier, tunctl not included ... should be "tunctl _is_ not included"
... to manage TAP interface priviledges. should be "privileges" (without d)
... 2. Create TAP interface. Set priviledges to user tux. "privileges" without d again. Maybe search&replace is a good idea ;-)
- section "Advanced Topic: Seamless Mode Virtualization"
... followed by the Open-Source responce ... "response" (with s, not c)
... Anyways, it doesn't works properly, ... "Anyway" and "work" (both without s)
- section "Advanced Topic: How-To USB + openSUSE 10.2"
Just FYI: the next kernel update should have the required usbfs enabled again.
Oh, and the link to bugzilla is plain text instead of a link.
That said, I just added VirtualBox to my to-be-tested-if-time-permits list ;-)
Regards,
Christian Boltz
Thanks a lot ! Already fixed on my PC, will update online later...

A spell check might help. Especially if you use the SUSE-enhanced dictionary. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-doc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-doc+help@opensuse.org

Update your trunk/common directory. Under common/aspell there is a README.txt.
You can also use this link: https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/lfl/trunk/common/aspell/README.txt
