Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right place...
That's the perfect place! :-) Thanks for writing to us.
In the startup guide pdf (opensuse-startup_en-pdf-12.2-157.2.noarch from the 12.2 Documentation repository) some key presses ar not printed, e.g. in Chapter 17.1 "Starting a Shell" the pdf says:
If you want to give it a try, press [] + [] + [F2] to leave the graphical user interface interface. The graphical user interface disappears and you are taken to a shell which prompts you to log in. Type your username and press []. Then type your password and press [].
The []'s are meant to be Alt, Ctrl, Enter, and Enter, respectively.
Should I file a bug report?
Ahh, I remember. This is (or was) a bug which I fixed lately. Please open a bug and assign it to me, maybe something went wrong during packaging.
