I have asked one of the authors what format they are using and he replied InDesign. Well, how could .po files be generated for an easier translation?
From InDesign or generally? This is usually a topic were Karl is the better expert. From what I know, it's usually done with gettext utilities.
I'm not familiar with InDesign. To convert .xml to .po (what we do with the openSUSE Release Notes), we use xml2po, which seems to be a stand-alone package; it was part of gnome-doc-tooos, IIRC. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-doc+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-doc+help@opensuse.org
