Thank you Silvio, I didn't check the middle of the Catalina log file... So it seems RHN started but stopped 3 seconds later. Then tried to start again getting stuck on the line previously posted at the end of the log. In the logs, I could also find that the write permissions on /var/log/rhn were not sufficient. So the rhn_web_ui_log has not been written. This evening was the first time that Uyuni started again. It seems to be unreliable at the moment. I will test it out some more and take thread dumps. Maybe I am just too impatient or starting times have increased. Let's see. After quite some days, I didn't manage to find an issue or indication of the issue of /rhn not starting. Issue could be replicated on Rocky Linux. Strangely Oracle Linux started.
can you please help me out on getting Uyuni started again?
Issue seems to be Tomcat (configuration) - the RHN application might not have been loaded at all. Are you sure you checked all of the Tomcat and related Catalina log files? Usually there are several - exact locations depend on configuration. HTH, -- Silvio Moioli SUSE Manager Development Team
