First Experiment was with adding "export CFLAGS="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS" in the %build Section before ./configure. The second was: fixing the Configure to "cflags="$RPM_OPT_FLAGS -g -w", create an patch, but this makes the same Error. Has anyone an other idea?

If this doesn't help and you really need CFLAGS and not e.g. CXXFLAGS...then you must fix configure script...I can look at it next week. JR -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

Hi, I look at libatlas3 and it need really huge improvement, as it self optimalize to build pc. So if you want create universal package you must remove all tuning options from configure scripts. e.g. gcc -DL2SIZE=4194304 -I/usr/src/packages/BUILD/ATLAS/my_build_dir/include -I/usr/src/packages/BUILD/ATLAS/my_build_dir/..//include -I/usr/src/packages/BUILD/ATLAS/my_build_dir/..//include/contrib -DAdd_ -DF77_INTEGER=int -DStringSunStyle -DATL_OS_Linux -DATL_ARCH_HAMMER -DATL_CPUMHZ=2210 -DATL_SSE3 -DATL_SSE2 -DATL_SSE1 -DATL_3DNow -DATL_GAS_x8632 -O -fomit-frame-pointer -fPIC -o xatlas_install atlas_install.o for x86 enable SSE3, which is not good universal choice for this arch. I suggest you learn how libatlas3 tune itself and disable this tuning (or tune for minimal configuration).
