The best way to update a package as bugfix
Hi. What is the best way to update package in oS:F:C? Just follow wiki guide: http://en.opensuse.org/Contrib#Bugfixes_for_packages_in_openSUSE:Factory:Con... Or create request every time after making a fix. I'm little bit confused when I see a request for update of chromium package. -- Pozdrawiam / Best regards, Mariusz Fik, openSUSE Community Member

For packages in oS:F:C, it depends on whether you are listed as one of the package maintainers. If you are, then you don't have to submit requests and you can submit your changes directly to Contrib. If you are not set as a maintainer of the respective package, then you have to submit a request.

I guess you mean requests to openSUSE:__11.2__:Contrib. Here the situation is a bit different, because only oS:11.2:C maintainers (ATM only me and prusnak) are allowed to do any changes in this repository. See http://en.opensuse.org/Contrib#Bugfixes_for_packages_in_openSUSE:.3Cversion.... HTH, Petr -- Petr Uzel, openSUSE Boosters Team IRC: ptr_uzl @ freenode
