new version: fsarchiver 0.5.8
Hi, By de-digesting the FreshMeat [fm] digest, I have found the (apparently) new version 0.5.8 of your package fsarchiver. (Old version last notified/in tree was 0.5.7). (This is just for your information. You decide whether to upgrade a package or not.) Extra Information: [023] FSARCHIVER 0.5.8 Project Tags: Recovery Tools, Filesystems, Archiving, backup Description: fsarchiver is a system tool that allows you to save the contents of a filesystem to a compressed archive file. The filesystem can be restored on a partition that has a different size, and it can be restored on a different filesystem. Unlike tar/dar, fsarchiver also creates the filesystem when it extracts the data to partitions. Everything is checksummed in the archive in order to protect the data. If the archive is corrupt, you just lose the current file, not the whole archive. Changes: This release preserves UUID with NTFS filesystems. It fixes detection of filesystems: partitions having a 0 at the end of their number were ignored. It adds distribution support files in the sources (an ebuild script for Gentoo and a spec file for RPM). It fixes licensing issues.
