Just as a heads up here: json-glib already ended up in GNOME:Factory and is likely to be pushed to openSUSE:Factory. so I'm not sure if getting it into contrib is wise at this moment. how do you suggest to move? Add it to 11.1 is anyway required... the package available on repo now, is not working.. that's why i pushed that submitreq Andrea -- ------------------------------------------ Andrea Florio QSI International School of Brindisi Sys Admin openSUSE-Education Administrator openSUSE Official Member (anubisg1) Email: andrea@opensuse.org Packman Packaging Team Email: andrea@links2linux.de Web: http://packman.links2linux.org/ Cell: +39-328-7365667 ------------------------------------------

openSUSE:Factory:Contrib is tracking openSUSE:Factory, so I believe we should just wait for the package to appear in Factory. (for 11.1, well, I'd argue that oS:F:C is for factory, so if it's needed for 11.1, it might be time to branch Contrib to oS:11.1:C) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

What if we accept it to Contrib, let it build for 11.1 but disable building for Factory? -- Best regards / s pozdravem Petr Uzel, Packages maintainer --------------------------------------------------------------------- SUSE LINUX, s.r.o. e-mail: puzel@suse.cz Lihovarská 1060/12 http://www.suse.cz 190 00 Prague 9 Czech Republic -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org

Why not 'link' to the one from GNOME:Factory and have that one build for 11.1 (and Factory disabled) ? Gives one package less to take care of for updates all over the place. The Contrib policy does not allow to have links in repository (like Factory).
Gives one package less to take care of for updates all over the place.
