Testing: Package received some testing from me. Everything tested found to work. No crashes.
There was an issue where it simply deadlocked in server mode (forking *and* threading is always fun) which was fixed in 2.0.3. I just updated to 2.0.4 and it now works, but the server thread it creates appears to never stop and consumes 100% CPU indefinitely.
I use iperf 2.0.2 for quite some time, and experience no deadlocks and no high CPU consumption. (when iperf is idle) There is only CPU consumption, when it runs test, which is normal. How to reproduce the problem you have ?
It only happens in daemon mode: rciperf start iperf -c 127.0.0.1 Once the test ends, the server thread continues to consume 100% CPU. Maybe it's only on the systems I have (x86_64), but if you want to test it on your machines, I'd like to know the results. -- James Oakley jfunk@funktronics.ca -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org
