Description: Package for openSUSE Box Support
Hello Sascha and others,
Some comments regarding siga package:
1) It does not build for Contrib because of %debug_package macro - you have to remove it from specfile otherwise the build fails (you can check this with 'osc cb build', if you have osc-contrib plugin installed)
2) The URL mentioned in specfile gives 404 - Not Found
3) If I'm not mistaken, the package has been dropped after 11.0 and I doubt it has been adapted to work with later openSUSE versions afterwards - I gave it a test run and it has complained about many nonexistent files.
Because of the last 2 reasons, I don't think it is of any use for 11.3 users, unless it is adopted a bit (which might be fun, btw ;) ).
Please let me know what you think. Hi Petr,
thanks for reviewing. The thing is that. Anyone has removed siga from obs very fast. Siga isn't in active development. But we use siga inside the Support from open-slx (Box Support). So i thought, that i can publish siga in an official Repo. So our Clients can get the Tool. Easy. 1.) %debug_package is commented out 2.) ATM it exists no Upstream Page Maybe we can us it? -- Sincerely Yours Sascha Manns openSUSE Member open-slx GmbH openSUSE Ambassador openSUSE Community & Support Agent openSUSE Build Service Web: http://www.open-slx.de openSUSE Marketing Team Web: http://www.open-slx.com openSUSE Medical Team Maifeldstrasse 10 D-56 727 Mayen Phone: +49 2651 4014045 Email: Sascha.Manns@directbox.com Web: http://saschamanns.gulli.to Blog: http://saigkill.wordpress.com Twitter: http://twitter.com/saigkill ClaimID: http://claimid.com/saigkill -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-contrib+help@opensuse.org
