[opensuse-conference] Android App: Please announce @G+ and/or Twitter
Hi, Matt has uploaded a final version of the App, but it's hasn't been announced at G+ even yet, some tweets would be nice as well. The current version is 1.1.0 name is SUSE Conferences (maybe good to have an alias for openSUSE Conferences? Keywords?) URL is https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.incoherent.suseconferencecl... author is Matt Barringer If you have a G+ account, you could announce it here https://plus.google.com/events/cnmkbdc37mebetjk8e3t9dl92e0 Tweet if you have a twitter. PS: Rate the App, if you can :) There's just once 5*! Thanks Andreas! Matt, could you, please, also try to replace the old screenshots with new ones at Google Play? Right now they're showing the previous schedule. I replaced the phone screenshots, but I don't have my tablet at work today, so I left those showing the Summit schedule. I think people will get the idea :-) -- Matt Barringer, Software Engineer SUSE Linux Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, DE GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg)

Up-to-date screenshots included ;) I've found some nice app for taking them that works on my phone. Hi, Ismail will add today a link and info about the android app on the Conference website. Will Stephenson will send to every attendee an e-mail telling them the app is available. Can somebody write a text for both of them, so they don have to be thinking what to write and looking for the correct links? They are booked with many other tasks. Please make it easy for them Thanks. On Friday 19 October 2012 11:54:51 Lukas Ocilka wrote:

Sure. Format into HTML as desired: === Conference attendees (or anyone who's interested in what's going on) can now use the SUSE Conferences Android app[1] for managing their Bootstrapping Awesome experience. Listing the full schedule for all four of the participating conferences, the app makes it easy to create a custom conference plan, set reminders or calendar entries, view local maps, and find interesting talks. Of course it is fully open-source[2], and if your Android device doesn't have access to Google Play, you can download the same package directly from GitHub[3]. If you find any bugs, please report them using GitHub or by sending a crash report directly from your device, if you have the opportunity.
