[opensuse-conference] CfP committee
Hi, I just sent few e-mails to cfp@opensuse.org as we should start working on proposals but although I think I'm subscribed (at least registration e-mail claims I am) I haven't received any of the e-mails I sent. Did any of you fellow CfP committee members received any of these? -- Michal Hrusecky <Michal@Hrusecky.net> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

Yes we did, one regarding the arm presentation and one regarding the schedule -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

I've been on that mailing list. I've seen emails come in from people who have sent in their proposals, plus discussions amongst those for the COSCUP team which is using that ML. I do not recall ever seeing any mails posted from you though. I think someone is supposed to approve your registration to the list, it isn't automatic. Ok, I have seen all the submissions from Indico, but I believe they are sent to conference as well and I saw a little discussion about something long time ago, but I believe that also was on conference one. So I guess I'm just not authorized to read it. Can somebody approve me please? Pretty please? No, the Abstract submissions have been going to cfp@. If you're seeing those emails, then you are subscribed and getting from the ML. :-D Beyond that, there has hardly been any discussion going on with that ML, which is typical until the close of a CfP. Then it gets noisy. If you're still unsure, and just need that extra ounce of confidence, send a test message to the ML and I'll reply directly to the ML. If you see my reply, then you are golden. :-D Bryen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

I take that back, I do see you posting to cfp ML. Then again, anyone can post to cfp@ without actually being a subscriber. So maybe you should re-subscribe? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

Tried that, was told that I'm already subscribed. Checked Spam folder, nothing there. -- Michal Hrusecky <Michal@Hrusecky.net> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

Judging from the log you use GMail. GMail doesn't show your own mails in conversations on ml's if no one answers. https://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=6588 Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, Mailinglist Admin http://www.opensuse.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org

Ok, thanks, sorry for the confusion, looks like it works and it's just another weirdness that gmail does :-/ Just found an e-mail that was send directly to cfp mailing list and didn't have anything else in cc, so it works, just gmail is hiding stuff from me. They probably know that I have already too much e-mails too read :-D -- Michal Hrusecky <Michal@Hrusecky.net> -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-conference+owner@opensuse.org
