I believe if we keep going too simple is not good, as same if we go too fuzzy. Find a balance between too poor and too crazy is the key to have a nice, beautiful and attractive material

Sometimes less is more "lessons learned from henne" but too less is nothing ;-)

I agree with what you are saying that we can have more things in there. If you notice on the first email, I explained that we can add more things like our motto and so on. But I did not want to do that unless it is supported by the rest of the team. About simplicity, let's only make sure that we don't make our tshirts lose focus. It is only a tshirt. Half of the people will not read any of the text that we place in there, and it is just a utilitarian piece of clothing to denote who is who at the conference. I would not want our tshirts to be added so many thing so it will look like a Christmas tree. We also need to think of the cost of adding more things. Everything we add comes at a cost and I would prefer to show our design on other things, such as our posters, web site and so on. Think of the SUSE tshirts, for example. You do not find anything there but a tiny logo on the chest. It does not look like a car racer's jacket. Please keep this in mind as you work on your designs.

Request: Please let's not add too many things to our T-shirts. Adding too much makes the design look confused and out of place.
