Hello Geekos,
In openSUSE Summit's web page the Spanish translation is available (http://summit.opensuse.org/es/)
My idea was to translate the openSUSE's Conference web page in Spanish as well. So i would like begin with this and also asking for participation in the spanish mailing list as well. In order to make the translation i need access to the github repository.
Regards,
The intent of the Spanish-version of Summit website is because we decided to make Summit a bi-lingual event. Central America is very close by Florida and in fact a shorter trip than from many places in the U.S. So we decided to increase our audience potential by targeting both U.S. and Central America. Some sessions will be presented in English and some will be presented in Spanish. That probably won't be the case for oSC. Traditionally, oSC has been English-speaking, although in the past it has also offered German-speaking sessions. If you create a Spanish-version of oSC website, it might mislead people to assume Spanish sessions will be included. You may want to put in a disclaimer that clarifies what languages will be offered at oSC. I'm not sure whether it is worth the effort to create multi-language versions of oSC website. If a person cannot speak/understand/communicate the determined-language of the event, then why would they go?
