[..] One question more about our internet access. Should we have, do will have an simple transparent http proxy ?
As most of us will abuse gmail.com, *.opensuse.org this would help each other to save some bandwidth.
Feedback welcome.
Let's ask the expert ;)
Christian, what do you think?
I don´t think there is a need for a transparent proxy. There will be ~85MBit/s internet connectivity.
Isn´t gmail.com SSL secured anyway?
If someone want´s to setup a transparent proxy (dedicated machine) I can configure the router for sending traffic to the proxy.

Oooh that's cool really :-) Ok seems reasonable 85000KB / 300 attendees give ~ 280 KB/s If the time permit, I will setup a small appliance and bring it with me just in case of. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch openSUSE Member & Ambassador GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-conference+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-conference+help@opensuse.org
