[opensuse-conference] FSFE booth

Hi peeps At FrOSCon I talked with Rainer Kersten from FSFE and mentioned the openSUSE Conference, and he asked me whether we do any booths. If so, he would be highly interested to come with his FSFE stand (they sell t-shirts, mugs, etc.. with FSFE logos, all benefits going to the FSFE Germany). Now I heard from Henne that we don't have booths in general, but it could still be an option to have the FSFE stand. Yes, no ? [opensuse-conference] The Transformation of the Venue

As I'm still looking for a few more folks to fill in the slots for our Speedy Geeko event Sunday night, it occured to me that since it turns out that the facility is actually an abandoned building,that will be transformed for the conference, how about someone who is part of the transformation procecss do a 5 minute slot called "Transforming Zentrifuge" or something like that? Should be easy to take a bunch of pictures before, during and after the transformation and put them into slides (remember it is 5 minute time slot with 20 slides each showing for 15 seconds.) [opensuse-conference] Meeting Next Monday

Hey, with the conference getting closer and closer I would like to hold a conference meeting next Monday, 2011-08-29 at 16:00 UTC on #opensuse-project The goal for the meeting is to sync everybody on the conference organization. We discuss what has been done by whom and what still needs to be done by whom. The agenda so far is: 1. Status promotion 2. Status venue 3. Status of the program I really would appreciate it if all the people that drive these things could be present. [opensuse-conference] Session: Kernel-of-the-day testing in SuSE QA

Hello, I have a question/potential issue with one of the scheduled sessions and I'm not sure who/where to ask, so I'll just ask here. One of the guys on my team (Vilem Marsik) has had a talk accepted for the upcoming OpenSUSE/SUSE Labs conference. Our intention was to schedule it for the "SUSE Labs" track, but it accidentally got scheduled for the "Tools and Infrastructure" track (which I assume is open to all). While the talk is not anything particularly *secret* it is about code that has not been released to the public yet and was originally intended for a SUSE Labs audience. Is there really going to be any separation at all between the "SUSE Labs" and other session tracks? If not, then I guess we can leave this session where it is, however, my concern is that we will get questions like "where do we download this? how can we use it? where can we see the results?", and none of that information is available publicly at the moment.
