Hi, sorry to bother with stupid things. [opensuse-conference] travel sponsorship options

Dear news- and conference teams, Tomorrow, a meeting will be held by the openSUSE conference team to decide on a number of things. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend as I'll be traveling and enjoying a few days off. So I'd like to ask the team to try and make a decision on travel sponsorship so the community can be informed of this as soon as possible. Hi. as proposed I contacted a local organization of some musicians called "Fat Orange" for a live performance on the conferences social event on monday. So a guy called Schimmy Yaw would like to play. http://www.myspace.com/schimmyyaw http://vimeo.com/19924396 http://www.made-in-2011.de/ What I also would think being a good Idea is having a talk or a workshop of a guy calling himsef "irq7" making music with a good old Gamy Boy during regular conference program. He would teach us how old 8-bit hardware can be used to make electronic music. In the evening he could do his performance. http://irq7.blogspot.com/ One member of Fat Orange is working as a sound engineer at a local PA rental company and has some experience in making a good sound in Zentrifuge - and he also knows what Shimmy Yaw needs as a PA. Hi, thinking of keynote speakers, I thought that somebody from the mozilla project might be cool. I think the mozillas promote the value of freedom very great, which also for openSUSE can and should be a central value that distinguishes us from others. About that I think it would be a good fit to have somebody speaking about 'the value of freedom' and related ;-). Hi all, In the article which went out earlier today, we've said that people should mail this ML to ask for a visum. Kostas offered to take care of that. He probably has a reasonable invite by now, if not, I believe Izabel had something (which she drafted for speakers but can be used for other visitors too). In case we don't believe they're involved with openSUSE, we can say something like: "Thanks for your request. Unfortunately, we cannot issue a visa letter in absense of involvement in Free Software or openSUSE. If you are involved in a Free Software project, please let us know and point us to some evidence."
