[opensuse-cloud] [Folsom] Missing dependency: python-httplib2 for openstack-glance
Hello Stackers. I'm testing Cloud:OpenStack:Folsom at the moment. It's not possible to install openstack-glance, the dependency python-httplib2 is missing. Problem: nothing provides python-httplib2 needed by python-glance-2012.2.4+git.1362583521.1fb759d-1.1.x86_64 Solution 1: do not install openstack-glance-2012.2.4+git.1362583521.1fb759d-1.1.x86_64 Solution 2: break python-glance-2012.2.4+git.1362583521.1fb759d-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies python-httplib2 should be added to Cloud:OpenStack:Folsom (and the Grizzly project as well). I assume this is for the SLE repo in C:O:F? I don't remember an issue for openSUSE.
python-httplib2 should be added to Cloud:OpenStack:Folsom (and the Grizzly project as well).
Added in C:O:F, building only for SLE. AFAICT, C:O:M already has python-httplib2, and it's building for SLE. Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-cloud+owner@opensuse.org

Tested with C:O:M, there it's working fine. But an other issue in C:O:M, this time with python-quantumclient (for SLE): Problem: nothing provides python-cliff >= 1.3.1 needed by python-quantumclient-2.1.2.9+git.1363006690.f96219d-1.1.x86_64 I'm not sure about the process at the moment, can I directly upgrade python-cliff in C:O:M to the needed version? Or should I open a review request for the change? After running zypper ref everything is working fine. Package updated earlier this morning. For the record (since it's now solved): python modules in C:O:M are usually links to devel:languages:python. So the right thing to do for these is to update the package in d:l:p.
